PSG Grant Singapore: Now Replaced by the EDGE Grant

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) subsidised up to 50% of pre-approved digital solutions for Singapore SMEs. It closed on 29 September 2026 and has been replaced by the EDGE Grant. This page explains what PSG covered, what has changed and where to apply now, so you arrive at the right vendor informed.

Update, October 2026: PSG has closed. Enterprise Singapore states that PSG, EDG and MRA ceased on 29 September 2026 and accept no new applications. From 30 September 2026, new applications go to the EDGE Grant. EDGE is open to businesses registered and operating in Singapore with at least 30% Singaporean and/or PR ownership, SMEs and non-SMEs alike. Each company can get up to S$100,000 of support a year (1 April to 31 March), and up to S$30,000 of that can go on digital solutions and equipment. For pre-approved digital solutions like the ones PSG funded, support is up to 50% for SMEs (30% for non-SMEs), with a cost cap per solution. Up to 70% is available for internationalisation and sustainability activities. Support is paid as a reimbursement after the activity is completed and fully paid. Ongoing PSG, EDG and MRA applications and projects continue to be processed. Sources: Enterprise Singapore, EDGE Grant and EDGE FAQ. Find the right activity on BizSG, then apply through the Business Grants Portal link on Enterprise Singapore's activity page. The PSG information below is kept for reference.

Note: SME Digital Hub is not an IMDA pre-approved vendor and does not submit grant applications for you; Enterprise Singapore requires your company to apply itself. This page is an independent guide to PSG and its replacement, the EDGE Grant, so you can make an informed decision before spending a dollar.

What is the PSG Grant?

The Productivity Solutions Grant was a Singapore government programme administered by Enterprise Singapore. It co-funded the adoption of pre-approved digital and IT solutions that help SMEs improve productivity and build business capabilities.

Singapore-registered SMEs with at least 30% local shareholding and group turnover of up to S$100 million (or up to 200 employees) were eligible, and the grant covered up to 50% of qualifying costs. EDGE keeps the 30% Singaporean/PR ownership rule but drops the SME size limit: larger companies can apply too, at lower support rates.

How to Apply Now: EDGE Steps (PSG Closed 29 September 2026)

PSG closed to new applications on 29 September 2026. The steps below show how the same kind of purchase is funded under the EDGE Grant.

1

Check Eligibility

Registered and operating in Singapore, with at least 30% Singaporean and/or PR ownership. Non-SMEs can apply too (lower support). Some solutions, such as digital marketing, exclude home-based businesses.

2

Find a Pre-Approved Solution

Pick a pre-approved vendor and solution on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital and get a formal quotation. Build the matching solution package there; it must match the quote. Book a free consultation with us for guidance on what to look for.

3

Apply via BGP

Apply on the Business Grants Portal through the link on Enterprise Singapore's EDGE activity page, signed in with your company's Corppass. BizSG helps you find the right activity, but it isn't where you apply. Enterprise Singapore lists a 1-week application outcome for pre-approved digital solutions. Do not start work or pay any deposit before you submit the application.

4

Deploy & Claim

Once approved, your vendor implements the solution (within 18 months for digital solutions). Costs from the application date are covered. EDGE support is paid as a reimbursement: claim once the activity is completed and full payment has been made (Enterprise Singapore).

Common Questions from Singapore SME Owners

Is EDGE only for tech companies?

No. Like PSG before it, EDGE funds everyday tools for traditional businesses — F&B, retail, professional services, logistics and more — such as accounting, CRM, digital marketing and online shops. If your business runs on manual processes, spreadsheets or WhatsApp, EDGE's pre-approved digital solutions are the natural place to start.

How much does EDGE pay for?

PSG covered up to 50% of qualifying costs. Under EDGE, pre-approved digital solutions get up to 50% for SMEs (30% for non-SMEs), each with its own cost cap; for example, digital marketing is capped at S$10,000 of cost, so up to S$5,000 of support. Digital solutions and equipment share a S$30,000 yearly cap, inside an overall S$100,000 per company per year. The higher 70% rate applies to internationalisation and sustainability activities. You pay in full, then claim once the activity is completed (Enterprise Singapore).

Can I apply for EDGE myself without a consultant?

Yes, and in fact you have to: the application must be submitted by your company on the Business Grants Portal through Corppass, and vendors or other third parties can't apply for you. PSG no longer takes new applications. SME Digital Hub isn't a vendor, but we can help you understand the process, assess your needs and identify the right pre-approved vendors to approach. Book a free consultation and we'll walk you through it.

Can I pay the vendor before applying for EDGE?

No — and this matters. Under EDGE you must not start work or pay any deposit to a vendor before you submit the application. Costs from the application date are covered once it's approved. Starting work or paying early is the most common mistake, and it makes the project ineligible.
